23 February 2017. Fondazione MAIC di Pistoia will hold the presentation of SEMI (Sistema Espressivo Multicanale Interattivo) project, developed by Signal and Images Laboratory and funded by Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Pistoia e Pescia.

In the project ambit, a suite of interactive games has been developed aiming at increasing awareness of interaction abilities with the surrounding environment (proprioceptive system). This games exploit gestural devices based on non invasive, contactless and low cost technologies able to provide audio-visual feedback of body movement.

SEMI has been experimented, with excellent results, during past months by Fondazione MAIC for the treatment of autism spectrum disorders.
